Frequently asked questions general

Our ticket hotline is manned Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00. The world balloon is open all year round and always Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 in operation.
  • Tickets – A ticket is issued for a specific flight experience, at a fixed date/time and to a specific name.
  • Vouchers – All vouchers issued by Berlin Helicopter are vouchers. You can choose something from the whole range of Berlin Helicopter.
  • Vouchers are not personal and therefore freely transferable.
  • Experience gift boxes – Our experience gift box comes to you as a noble metal box and contains a value voucher, a Berlin Helicopter flyer, two delicious sweets, and everything you want to pack from our assortment.
  • Gift articles – you can find our great gift articles around the topic of flying in our on-board store.
The validity is three years, from the date of issue.
This is not necessary. The presentee can choose his desired date in the flight schedule alone.
You can redeem multiple value vouchers for one booking, or top up the amount yourself.

Depending on altitude wind at 150 meters, we are open all year round: Monday to Sunday from 10.00 am. Before your visit, please check the balloon weather to see if an ascent is possible.

You have booked a ticket with one of our many partners. You can redeem your ticket during your stay in Berlin. If you do not have the opportunity to do so and would like to cancel, please contact the partner directly. You will find the corresponding company in your booking confirmation.

If you have a voucher from Air Service Berlin, it is valid for three years and can be redeemed at any time.

Every 15 to 20 min.
The world balloon rises every 15 to 20 minutes. It can happen that you are standing at the cash desk and the balloon is just about to go up. Then you sit down in our balloon garden, have a drink and look forward to your ride. It’s about to start.
How long are you in the air?
The platform can accommodate a maximum of 30 people.
 The maximum number of participants depends on the wind force.

Yes, the price always refers to one person.
There fly a total of up to 6 guests (500 kg)
The Premium Service includes the “Skip the Line” service. You will be taken through the security check and do not have to queue. Therefore, it is also sufficient if you are at BER one hour / instead of two hours before departure. There is also an additional welcome drink. The Premium Service costs an additional € 26.00 p.p.
You will be informed by phone and in consultation with you will be booked on another date – of your choice – at the known flight times or you will receive a voucher and book yourself again.
We recommend that you book about 14 days in advance.
Children have their own seat in the helicopter and therefore do not receive a discount.
You can exclusively secure one of the two available cockpit seats. For all other guests, the pilot will allocate seats on the spot, depending on the weight.
We have guests from all directions on our plane. Unfortunately, this is not possible. Our flight routes over the city are fixed. But you can charter the machine for yourself. Just make a request via our contact form.
Yes, we offer this service. Please contact us by phone before your booking. The service must be registered with the airport and is subject to a fee. The invoice will be issued by BER Airport. See our terms and conditions.
As with all airlines, the maximum weight per seat is 120 kg. Above this weight you will have to book another seat on this flight. Attention: if the weight is incorrect, you can be excluded from the flight and the ticket will be forfeited.
