Our ticket hotline is manned Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00. The world balloon is open all year round and always Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 in operation.
  • Tickets – A ticket is issued for a specific flight experience, at a fixed date/time and to a specific name.
  • Vouchers – All vouchers issued by Berlin Helicopter are vouchers. You can choose something from the whole range of Berlin Helicopter.
  • Vouchers are not personal and therefore freely transferable.
  • Experience gift boxes – Our experience gift box comes to you as a noble metal box and contains a value voucher, a Berlin Helicopter flyer, two delicious sweets, and everything you want to pack from our assortment.
  • Gift articles – you can find our great gift articles around the topic of flying in our on-board store.
The validity is three years, from the date of issue.
This is not necessary. The presentee can choose his desired date in the flight schedule alone.
You can redeem multiple value vouchers for one booking, or top up the amount yourself.

Depending on altitude wind at 150 meters, we are open all year round: Monday to Sunday from 10.00 am. Before your visit, please check the balloon weather to see if an ascent is possible.

You have booked a ticket with one of our many partners. You can redeem your ticket during your stay in Berlin. If you do not have the opportunity to do so and would like to cancel, please contact the partner directly. You will find the corresponding company in your booking confirmation.

If you have a voucher from Air Service Berlin, it is valid for three years and can be redeemed at any time.

Every 15 to 20 min.
The world balloon rises every 15 to 20 minutes. It can happen that you are standing at the cash desk and the balloon is just about to go up. Then you sit down in our balloon garden, have a drink and look forward to your ride. It’s about to start.
How long are you in the air?
The platform can accommodate a maximum of 30 people.
 The maximum number of participants depends on the wind force.

Yes, the price always refers to one person.
There fly a total of up to 6 guests (500 kg)

The premium service turns you into a VIP when you are greeted and processed for your helicopter flight. You wait in an exclusive area reserved for premium guests and can relax and look forward to the sightseeing flight. During this time, you can toast with Prosecco or soft drinks and watch the helicopter take off and land. When boarding, you will receive a small surprise from our ground stewards that will make your sightseeing flight over Berlin even more unforgettable. The premium service costs an additional €26.00 per person.

You will be informed by phone and in consultation with you will be booked on another date – of your choice – at the known flight times or you will receive a voucher and book yourself again.
We recommend that you book about 14 days in advance.

Children have their own seat in the helicopter and therefore do not receive a discount.
You can exclusively secure one of the two available cockpit seats. For all other guests, the pilot will allocate seats on the spot, depending on the weight.
We have guests from all directions on our plane. Unfortunately, this is not possible. Our flight routes over the city are fixed. But you can charter the machine for yourself. Just make a request via our contact form.
Yes, we offer this service. Please contact us by phone before your booking. The service must be registered with the airport and is subject to a fee. The invoice will be issued by BER Airport. See our terms and conditions.
As with all airlines, the maximum weight per seat is 120 kg. Above this weight you will have to book another seat on this flight. Attention: if the weight is incorrect, you can be excluded from the flight and the ticket will be forfeited.

Is the balloon in operation: Yes! Ascending weather
We are happy to welcome you in the gondola of the world balloon. Our balloon is in flight as long as weather conditions permit. A spectacular view awaits you in the center of the German capital. It is the most exciting viewing platform of Berlin.

Is the balloon in operation: No! Maintenance work / New billposting
The balloon is certified according to the principles of the Europin Aviation Safty Agency under the number FK-5500 / STU. The maintenance rhythms are to be ensured in a sequence approved by the Federal Aviation Office. With resulting calendar and timing checks on the winch, gondola and envelope, the balloon remains on the ground.

Is the balloon in operation: No! Thunderstorm/ severe weather warning
Due to thunderstorms or severe weather warnings, the balloon must be specially secured in advance. Therefore, well before the onset of the gusts, the flight must be stopped and the balloon secured in a deep tether.

Is the balloon in operation: No! Wind
It is not the ground wind but the wind speed at a height of 150 m that is decisive for driving. If the wind is expected to become gusty or exceed the values of 13 m/s, the driving operation must be stopped before the wind speed is reached.
