Air Service Berlin 2021
When we say City, we mean CITY! Only Berlin Helicopter will fly you into the restricted area of the government district of the federal capital.
Experience the true heart of Berlin and don’t miss any of the numerous sights. Your flight doesn’t start just anywhere in Berlin, but right where the business jets of celebrities, business, and politics take off: At Terminal 1 of Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER. There, our friendly crew welcomes you at the Berlin Helicopter check-in counter. After a short document check with boarding pass and photo ID, we show you the way to the airport security check. At the gate, our pilot greets you with a smile and the question “Ready for Takeoff”? With the luxurious Lincoln Stretch Limousine, you will be taken over the apron to the helipad while watching our short safety briefing.
The takeoff clearance from the tower sounds, and off we go – the skids of the helicopter lift off the ground, heading towards the Berlin city center at around 200 km/h. Below us, the Jewish Museum appears – unmistakable in its distinctive zigzag shape – and right after that, the East Side Gallery, the longest open-air gallery in the world. German history was written on this stretch of wall. One highlight follows another. Below you, the TV tower at Alexanderplatz, where you can almost wave to the guests in the highest restaurant sphere while having coffee. To your left, the facade of the Red Town Hall, made up of a thousand red bricks, shines brightly. Now, look to the right: Museum Island – a paradise for art and culture enthusiasts. Checkpoint Charlie, once a grim border crossing between the Soviet and US sectors, is now right below us. In the distance, the huge dome of Berlin Cathedral already gleams.
The helicopter seems to almost hover in the air as you take in the world-famous Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag building, and Potsdamer Platz. Just to the right, you can now see Bellevue Palace, closely followed by the Victory Column, crowned by its golden Victoria. The Berliners have dubbed the latter “Goldelse” because it sparkles so beautifully in the sun. The helicopter banks into a turn and you spot Zoo Station and Breitscheidplatz below you – the heart of former West Berlin. From there, it heads south back to the new capital airport. The helicopter gently touches down on its skids. In these moments, it’s clear: This city is even more beautiful from above!
And so you don’t think afterwards that you only dreamed it all, you will receive a personal flight certificate, signed by your helicopter pilot.
